Mr. Jason Kelley

 Mr. Kelley grew up in and around the rural town of Mayville, Michigan. He attended high school and graduated from Michigan Lutheran Seminary in 1996. He graduated from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in education with an emphasis in English and social studies. Mr. Kelley earned his master’s degree in education with an emphasis in leadership from Martin Luther College in 2012. Jason is married to Alyssa (nee Pelzl) who is also a graduate of Martin Luther College. The Lord has blessed them with 4 children. Their names are Emmeline, Amelia, Eliot, and Noelle. Prior to teaching at Holy Trinity in Washington, Mr. Kelley has taught in Wisconsin, Colorado, Minnesota, and Illinois.  May the LORD continue to bless our congregation’s effort in training the next generation and reaching out into our community with the Gospel message.
Mr. Joel Plocher

Mr. Plocher grew up in Michigan before moving to Minnesota during grade school. He attended Minnesota Vally Lutheran High School in New Ulm, MN, before attending Martin Luther College. He met his wife, Kelli, and they were married in 1998. Mr. Plocher graduated MLC in 2000 and served at Martin Luther School in Neenah, WI from 2000 until 2017. The Plochers have three children: Lydia, Thomas, and Samuel. 

Mr. Plocher is working toward a Master's degree in Technology Education from Martin Luther College. Teaching is a passion for Mr. Plocher, especially math, science and the Word of God. In his free time, Mr. Plocher enjoys watching and playing sports, family games, and storm chasing.

Mrs. Alyssa Kelley

 Mrs. Kelley grew up in New Ulm, Minnesota. For most of her high school experience, she attended Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School just outside of New Ulm. She also spent one semester of high school as an exchange student at Trifels Gymnasium in Annweiler, Germany. She attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN and graduated with honors in 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Mrs. Kelley currently holds elementary school teaching licenses for both Minnesota and Illinois and is in the process of obtaining her teaching license for the state of Washington.
Mrs. Kelley began her teaching career at Zion Lutheran School in Toledo, Ohio, in 2002. She taught grades 3 – 5 and was in charge of school music. She then did a few years of substitute teaching in Redwood Falls before taking a position teaching Elementary Math at Reede Gray Elementary School in Redwood Falls, MN. In 2011, she was called to teach at St. John Lutheran School in Libertyville, IL. There she taught a variety of subjects for 2nd-8th grade. She currently serves as the Grade 3 & 4 teacher at Holy Trinity Lutheran School in Des Moines, Washington.
Mrs. Kelley is married to Mr. Kelley. The Lord has richly blessed them with 4 children: Emmeline, Amelia, Eliot, and Noelle. Mrs. Kelley considers it a privilege to be able to teach Jesus’ little lambs every day. May the Lord continue to bless the spreading of His Word here at Holy Trinity and throughout the world.
Mrs. Kelli Plocher
2nd Grade

Mrs. Plocher was born and raised in New Ulm, MN, residing there until she graduated from Martin Luther College in 2000 with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She and Mr. Joel Plocher (HTLS 7/8 grade teacher) were married in 1998. They have been blessed with their daughter Lydia in 2000, and sons Tom in 2002 and Sam in 2005. Mrs. Plocher began her teaching ministry in 2008 at Martin Luther School in Neenah, WI, where she taught first in grades 3/4 and later in grades 1/2. She also was director of school music. She currently teaches second grade at Holy Trinity. When she is not teaching, Mrs. Plocher loves watching her children play and perform in extracurricular activities, as well as road tripping with her family. She also enhoys reading, playing piano, and crocheting in her free time. 

Mrs. Beth Humann
1st Grade

Mrs. Humann was born and raised in Wisconsin, but has spent her entire married life with her husband, retired minister James Humann, on the west coast. She has eight children and nine grandchildren and treasures every moment spent with family. In her downtime, she enjoys playing piano, cooking and traveling.

Mrs. Humann graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minnesota, qwith a degree in education. She has more than twenty-five years of teaching experience, teaching students from preschool through the twelfth grade in Southern California and Washington. 
Mrs. Sheryl Birsching

Sheryl Birsching is a pastor’s wife and mother of six children—five sons and one daughter. She loves teaching, and began her career in 1986 by starting a new one-room school near St. Cloud, MN. Since then, she has taught all ages from PreK to 8th grade. Her goals for Kindergarten are twofold: 1) teach children to love their best friend, Jesus, and 2) teach children to love learning.
In her free time, Sheryl enjoys travelling, scrapbooking, reading, and baking.
Miss Megan Ungemach

Miss Ungemach grew up in Manitowoc, WI as the daughter of two teachers. She is the second oldest of six children, having two sisters and three brothers. She attended Manitowoc Lutheran High School and graduated in 2012. From 2012-2016 she attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. On May 14, 2016 Miss Ungemach graduated from MLC with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. That same day she received the assignment to teach here at Holy Trinity and be the director of Early Childhood Education. Miss Ungemach holds a early childhood (birth-3rd grade) teaching license for the state of Minnesota.

Besides sharing the love of Jesus with His Little Lambs, some of Miss Ungemach's favorite things are singing, playing piano and French Horn, reading, spending time with her family and friends, shopping and creating things. She prays that God will continue to bless Holy Trinity and use her to further His kingdom.

Mrs. Brenda Henning
3 Year Old Pre-Kindergarten

Brenda Henning grew up on a small farm in eastern Washington, later moving to Mexico and Puerto Rico where her dad served as a missionary.  She has been happily married for 22yrs and has been blessed with 4 active boys ages 8-20years old.
Brenda's first call was to teach 1st and 2nd grade here at Holy Trinity.  She has also had an in-home daycare while being a stay-at-home mom and has been very involved in the EST program for a number of years.  Brenda and her husband also stay busy running a small BBQ catering business.
When not caring for and teaching God's precious lambs, Brenda loves to work out in her garden or around the barn on her small farm.  Camping, hiking, and fishing are some of her favorite hobbies.

Pastor Tom Voss
5th - 8th grade Catechism

Pastor Voss spent the early years of his childhood in Lincoln, NE before moving to Aurora, CO. He attended high school at Luther Prep School in Watertown, WI. After graduating from Martin Luther College in 2006, he continued his pastoral studies at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. Upon his graduation in 2010, he was assigned to serve at Holy Trinity. Pastor Voss is married to Kendalyn and has two young children, Josefine and Levi. Pastor Voss teaches 5th-8th grade Catechism classes, coaches flag football, and enjoys the excitement and energy that the children of the school bring to the campus each day.
Pastor Youn Soo Park
7th - 8th Grade Korean Catechism

Pastor Park graduated Han-young Bible College in Korea, and Faith Evangelical Lutheran Seminary and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in US. Pastor Park is still studying for STM degrees at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. He has three family members, Amelia Park(wife), David Park (son), Ashley Park (daughter). When he lived in Korea he served in Kwang-ju Lutheran Church, and Mokpo Lutheran Church south west from Seoul, Korea. Pastor Park has taught Catechism for international / Korean 7~8th grade Holy Trinity Lutheran School since 2006.
